my new pcp didn’t want me on a high dose to start bc my old pcp thought giving me 1mL/200mg every two weeks was normal so now I’m on a much lower dose to make sure I didn’t have any side effects. I got given the option between a once a week and a once every 2 weeks and picked the latter to stay sane

Goals: Establishing Basic Shape, Lighting, and Material 1. Draw a base shape in midtone (50%) gray - This makes it easier to build form with black/white. 2. With a soft round brush, use black or dark gray to block out the shadows of your shape. 3. With the same brush, use white to create highlights and bounce lights on your object. Focus on good contrast and a variety of values (light and dark). High contrast + sharp edges between shades = more metallic look. 4. On a new layer, make some reflected lights. This isn’t necessary, but this helps to make the metal feel more shiny/realistic and adds interest. 5. Apply a Gradient Map to the shape, making sure to clip it to your object. Focus on good contrast and a variety of values (light and dark). Use references for a more realistic color palette. 6. Use colors from the background to make a more realistic look that better incorporates the metal into its environment. Use references for better effect. Note: Programs that allow Gradient Maps will typically have a large library of pre-made Gradient Maps for you to choose from. You can also save custom gradients.
