It’s your final call. That Northern Directors application won’t send itself, and we really want to see it! 🚀

We’re teaming up with the BBC and Clerkenwell Films to give two emerging short-form directors a paid shadowing and mentoring placement on a TV production. https://bit.ly/fhn-nd

Reform promises agency to ensure mass migrant removal The party's new home affairs spokesman Zia Yusuf says it would be a

UK ICE anyone? I don't honestly believe that the majority of Reform voters would seriously want to see what we've witnessed of late in the US on the streets of Britain. But a small proportion absolutely do.

Makes me incredibly aad and even more angry. I’m sorry that you and so many others are put in such a position. Also gutted that i’m not around to stand up to such unwanted hate and intolerance in our beautiful city.

“I’m sorry you’re offended” - and, yes, I’m paraphrasing - is not an apology. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cd...

I thought exactly the same! Not least because I didn't realise he's still a Tory.

No idea what today’s hearing was meant to achieve. Apart from Balint (D), Massie (R), and Crockett (D), it was a non-event with Bondi dodging every Epstein/Trump question by invoking illegal immigration and most Republicans busy fawning over the Trump administration in a most excrutiating fashion.

Now talking over a congresswoman - Democrat, obvs - who was pressing her about Trump’s links to Epstein, blurting out “and gas is $1.99”. Remarkable at any time, but with Epstein survivors in the room, it's downright callous.

I actually feel sorry for many of my United-supporting friends.

An already highly repugnant individual goes out of his way to prove that he's even worse than we thought *slow hand clap*

I'm a Brit watching Pam Bondi testify before the House Judiciary Committee. Her use of random - and highly targeted - stats to deflect any question that she doesn't wish to answer, alongside occasional use of playground-style insults is absolutely shameless. And shameful. #JusticeForTheFew

My favourite TV listing, which they deliver every year on 02 Feb. It's up there with BBC iPlayer volume going up to eleven as things that amuse me more than they should. #GroundhogDay

The choices & consequences rhetoric coming out of the press conference by Federal officials in Minnesota right now is abhorrent, victim blaming BS. Out and out fascism. These people are the real domestic terrorists. They are the only people instilling fear.

Not one defection to Reform has made me think, “that’s disappointing, I thought they were better than that.” It’s pure all the school bullies meeting up in one corner of the playground energy.

Here’s actual video footage of my internal voice on seeing yesterday’s “big reveal” #Jenrick

The ticketing gods were kind and sent me a presale link. Eventually. So I'm sorted and filled with happy anticipation ❤️

Whilst I have other stuff on this week that puts such first world nonsense into serious perspective, I'm gutted that I've had no presale link for Pulp's Manchester gig next summer. This is despite being already signed up to Pulp, Self Esteem and Wythenshawe Live long before it was ever announced 😞

And you'll promise yourself never to leave it so long before tackling it again. But you will.

Storyville - The Librarians A Storyville documentary that explores how librarians across the US are risking their safety to defend free speech as book bans and censorship threaten democracy from within.

A devastating watch but an absolute must-see. In case you were in any doubt that Trump's America is following 1930s Germany's playbook to the letter. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...

I’ve binged it this evening as a much needed counterpoint to both the weather and the news. Multiple highlights, not least his thinking walk 😁

@pravg.bsky.social Six of us at our screening, two left (they were not together). Will never look at Linda McCartney products in the same way again. Bonus to see the trailer for Hundreds of Beavers, booked in for Monday's screening + Q&A that I would have otherwise missed 😊

I guess it wasn't the Paul McCartney/Michael Jackson biopic they were expecting...

IKR! The theatre one was a leaving gift, the cinema one is because I'm a Platinum Friend. How was the film? I'm seeing it Thursday. Loved Greasy Strangler so am expecting the best/worst.

Theatre or cinema? *flicks hair at having two seat plaques*

Was purely serendipitous that I was looking to see if anyone else was waiting on the SFA presale link! Came through at 10:06 so sorted now, with two outstanding gigs to look forward to in 2026 ☺️ I've joined LCCC as a member for next season too, so there's a good chance I'll see you around!
