Ohhh what stuff you working on in vsc?

Indeed, I'm coming around to this more, not quite on it like Twitter back in day, need to follow and use more. Instagram gets me, it's all the fake stories popping up on there in my feed which are annoying and leaving Facebook over 7 years ago best decision ever.

A couple of weeks looking for a green/climate job I'm shocked at the levels of doomscrolling on LinkedIn. Never thought of it like that, it's a platform I rarely used, but it's easy to get dragged down in the posts about AI and the job market but there's something out there for me, I know it.

Went to McDonalds ordering the vegan Mc Plant. Someone asked me if I was vegan and how I found it. They had been trying and struggling with doing it a while. I’d like to think I did my little bit pointing them towards challenge 22. It helped me in the early days and hopefully it will them 🥳

So I did something crazy today. I handed in my 13 week notice. No job lined up. Going to focus everything in to trying to get in the climate change space. Blog post on my website where I'll give ongoing updates on progress.

Haha no, there’s plenty of scientists doing that, some punctuation would be good :D Eventually I’d like to transition to working for a company in that field. For now I’m concentrating on building a Quality culture and team within my current company and raising my public profile.

The beginning of a new chapter. Let's see what becomes of this, got plans to be more active in the testing community next year with a pinch of climate change thrown in for good measure.
