Or forward... Dammit

Dogs have no concept of Daylight Saving Time it seems. Just staring. Impatient.
There are ongoing negotiations to establish that it is not their fault the clocks went back an hour and that, despite this administrative anomaly, it is still dinner time. Now. Right now.
So much joy, tranquility, and something quietly perfect in one evening walk together.
"Oh, I have to wait for my sister. We're a team."
A wet, miserable, thoroughly dreich day in Scotland 🌧️
The snow and ice have surrendered into puddles, and the rain is enthusiastically increasing the stock levels.
Dogs have been informed, politely, that there will be no grand adventures this afternoon.
First Dryrobe w*nk*r (walker obviously) of the season spotted. Me!
Cold, wet, dreich. Dogs still insist on still going out.
Wee walk with little brothers whilst Albert and Bera are out with friends and their dog walker
Dogs are never boring
Gorgeous 🥰
To the person who said we’re getting BORING posting similar photos… Bera wholeheartedly agrees 🥱
We’re not “social media influencers” chasing likes at trendy locations. We’re just dog lovers sharing snapshots of our life, our dogs - right here at home. There’s a difference.
Smoking is bad. But smoking a pipe is classy.
You may be cool but you’ll never be as cool as a regal Labrador imagining he’s an aristocrat with a pipe. 🧐
Im 40.
I celebrated with dogs and cake.
I'm old, but I have dogs and cake.
I let small annoyances build today, mostly from my own stubbornness. Then stepped outside with the dogs and realised I live in the middle of a postcard. Perspective’s a good cure for pettiness.
How lucky am I to call this home.
Last night of my 30s. Went wild. Took the dogs out, picked up after them, came home before it got dark. Watch out if you’re out and about tonight. This boy’s off the rails. But only till about 8 o’clock when he goes to bed. Crazy.
Five years ago today, at 11:11am, we lost our boy. My soulmate, my purpose, my best friend. Bert was the gentlest soul.
Not a day passes that I don’t think of my special boy. The one who started it all. Until we are together again. And what a glorious day that will be ❤️
Bert 2010-2020 🌈
She's stolen my favourite birthday antler. If you would be so kind as to send HELP... immediately.
Thank you
Happiest of happy birthdays to our wonderful boy, Albert.
Five years have flown by far too fast, but in that time you’ve given us endless love, countless smiles, and memories that light up every single day - especially when we needed it most, in the shadow left after Bert passed.
Sunday morning fetch team: two fetching dogs and one old man, only good for kicking the ball.
The real reason dinosaurs are extinct? Dogs.
Poor dinosaurs never stood a chance.
Happy Gotcha Day, Bera! 🌟
Four years ago today, our family became complete when you came home to join us. From the very first wag of your tail, you filled our lives with joy and laughter, and you’ve been a constant source of love ever since.
Albert and Bera
“The journey begins in fields well-known… but cross a bridge, and you may find yourself stepping into something altogether unexpected... the beginning of an adventure.”
Two good dogs. Hills. Blue skies. All boxes ticked.
Nothing better ❤️
Happiest of birthdays to my favourite little girl, Bera - Four today 🎁
She celebrated with a 4.30am beach run (to beat the tide, obviously) and a lunchtime Janettas ice cream. Sassy, sweet, and just wants to be near the people she loves most. Love you so much, lil lady ❤️
Dreich above, fog in the distance, wind and rain horizontal. Welcome to July in Scotland.
The Anatomy of Anticipation: A Study in Ball Ball
If you’d indulge us and wish a heavenly happy birthday to the dog who started it all…
Happiest of happy birthdays to our best friend, Bert.
15 today. Loved as much today as the day we met, and the day we last held you in our arms.
Have as much cake as you want, goodest boy.

The Life and Adventures of Bert is now available on Amazon.com and Audible.com.
I know some of you kindly bought Bert’s book and not everyone gets the chance to sit down and read. I also remember a few of you mentioning how you love audiobooks...
Well listen as you walk your dog!
Never been more ‘pleased’ with himself. Two premium sticks and a scenic backdrop. What more could a gentleman require?
In the light of a long evening, simply majestic.
