I'm learning API recently and found great satisfaction in working out and executing a script succesfully. Small thing I know, but learning at my age is something! And yeah. there's AI tools in the app, but the one time I ran it, it spat out useless shite, so.

Ah, how often do we respond to "ooh I like that dress/skirt" with a happy "thanks - it has POCKETS!" :)
I remember once friends of my parents had this fancy new stereo in its own room with a New CD Player and to show it off, the dad put on "money for nothing" and he and my dad stood there and nodded along seriously to that crazy drum bit at the start at full volume.
Ha yes, I knew exactly what you meant - chemical strawberry cak. Even vapes aren't as bad as a blasting "fog" machine from the early 2ks at Abyss.
Sam is great, he throws everyone off so expertly with his dry, blank swerves.
...and when I say fit I mean as in exercise, not the UK version of the word haha.
While walking back from a big shop sesh at queenvic markets this morning, laden with bags, a fit young lass walked up behind me and asked me if she could help me carry my bags. Dear god, is that where I'm at now?! I look like an actual Old Bat who needs help carrying her shopping? :(
*sneeze* kill me *sneeze* kill me
Ben Goldacre! I recall reading about this some years ago.
Reminds me of this Chems video:

I stil think of this every time we gotta go to the bottleo.
"That's a paddlin'"
"Thriving through Change; a [companyname] Learn to support your mental health"
I tell you what, my mental health would be improved if you corporate fux stopped using phrases like "a learn", ffs. What's wrong with "a session" or "a presentation". What in the dizzy layers of hell is "A LEARN".
Its jury duty for UK thespians.
Gosh I'd not heard a thing about this, what a nice idea! I must say from the trailer I'm not a fan of Moonface being more like MoonBigHair. Odd choice. Saucepan man is fab. I dont usually watch kids films but I will this one. I've an 80s box-set of all the Faraway Tree books.
OK well now I'm hearing it in Tom Waits' voice, ha.
For some reason my head hears that intoned by someone stern like Dave Gahan or Blixa.
Robert Cure. Love it.
Rent control would be good too. If they wont raise salaries in line with the cost of everything else going up, at least put some kind of ceiling on rent ffs. I pay more than half my wage in rent these days :( NFI what I'll do come retirement in 10 years. Keep working I guess?
Check it for mould! Is it a front loader? They can get mouldy :(
Thanks J! x
Yeah I wonder if it has something in it thats in the same chemical makeup as cucumber, because I dislike them and for similar taste-profile reasons.
I know its a challops but... watermelon. Any melon really but watermelon most of all. Mealy, nothingy blech. And no, "you just havent had a good one" is not why. Something 'bout the flav profile of melons icks me.
This one's hard for me too because I mean, 1990 had some bangers! Sundays, Ride, Lush, Breeders, Sonic Youth.. but I will have to go for the most obvious one, Cocteau Twin's magnificent octopus "Heaven or Las Vegas".

Its like saying "pant".
"we're not some one-idea group" sez Tony. LOL. All their singles sounded exactly alike. I've never had my hopes raised and then dashed as expertly as by this mob.
Bloody hell! Did they think he was just going to do some wacky Baldrick skits or something? Who pays good money to go see a guy and just boo and yell shit?
Happy birthday @wbmarsland.bsky.social ! I'll have a pint for yer xx
♫Bring on the bashing forrrcesss....♫
LOL yeah I should have used that example, I didn't actually remember how audible the Boys Light Up lyrics were!
