I'm in one hell of an art burnout, so I went back to drawing some of my old OCs to try and break through it (It did not work haha).
This is Lilly, I've actually posted some previous redesigns of her before, but I wanted to try something closer to her original look.

This is Myth, he was the old antagonist from Kiesse's story. He doesn't really look like this anymore in the stories, but I wanted to draw him again for old time's sake.

A reference sheet showing the designs for a spacesuit meant for the alien species of Kepek, who are tall, bipedal, 4-armed creatures with a long, kangaroo-like face and 6 rabbit-like ears. The suit is black with grey armoured pieces around the chest, forearms and feet with neon blue accents on the chest piece. The helmet encases their whole head with glass on the top for them to see out of, and plates on the bottom letting their jaws articulate. The image has boxes with explanations about certain features, and a colour pallet right down in the bottom left corner. The top left box reads: "Jawed Helmet: Kepeki helmets feature a movable jaw mechanism with a silicone-like material between the plates, allowing for minimal movement of their two jaws, enough for them to be able to speak into the microphone installed at the font of the helmet's snout". It also contains an illustration showing the helmet when the user's mouth is open, revealing the silicone fabric. The box under it shows the suit's accents with various colours and the following text: "Suit accents: Kepeki Space suits are fitted with LED accents, both to increase visibility of the suit from a distance, and to convey messages to other nearby Ship passengers and astronauts. Each colour has a set meaning. Blue = Normal, Green = approach, yellow = danger, stay away and red = help! System Failure". The last box on the left says, "Thrusters: thrusters are located on the palm of the Kepek's secondary hands, the bottom of their feet, and the along the tail in order to help them move in 0-gravity". On the right are 2 boxes. The top reads: "Pouch Pocket: unfortunately, there was no safe way for Kepeki astronauts to be able to access their abdominal pouches, so instead most Kepeki space suits feature a pocket held closed by a magnetic edge to allow for the easy carrying of tools and items, especially since two of their arms are required for moving around." and the bottom right box reads, "Holo-watch interface: Holo-watches are an important part of daily-life technology for the kepek, and this is also true for kepeki astronauts, but the defining feature of the holo-watch is it's holographic display, which doesn't work in the vacuum of space where there are no air particles that can be manipulated into displaying the hologram. Instead, Kepeki space suits normally have an old-fashioned solid-glass display built into their suits, which interfaces with the watch (which is worn under the wrist panel)"

I had to do some... last minute redesign of the Kepeki space suits last week when I realised I may have created some problems for myself. Since I was at it, I decided to put together this handy ref-sheet! (please ignore my bad spelling 😅)

Arayan is another old OC that I felt needed some love. He's Kiesse's brother and while he's still in her story, his role has changed drastically. In the current iteration, he's a quiet bookworm who just never took to the lifestyle expected of his family of loud, proud warriors.

Christmas eve is a bit of an intense day in my family, it's both my late Pop's birthday and the anniversary of my Nan's passing, so I drew this in tribute to them both, inspired by Carol of The Birds, a local Christmas carol they both loved.

I've always thought it too hot in Aus for reindeer, so maybe Santa should hire some local helpers! Brushtail possums certainly sound like reindeer on the roof, and they have their own built-in pouch for gifts!

He's a dingo with the personality of a golden retriever, however, he's still new to being a disabled athlete (or disabled in general) and can be a bit naive to how the world reacts to them.

Kip is the main character for a story my partner has been working on lately. I drew them for his birthday at the start of November but just didn't get around to posting until now.

Another Dragon's Reign Character! This grouch is Zarius, Ashfin's brother and one of the antagonists. Saying he and Ashfin have a bad relationship would be... an understatement.
I imagine he's glowering at Ashfin who's "obnoxiously" marvelling at something, just off-screen.

Nix says "Dante... you have a skull for a face." to which he replies "Yeah, that's different, that's outside! All those... scapulas and ulnas are inside with all the gross stuff.... Thinking about it makes me queezy...". "outside" and "inside" are both written in bold and italic font to make them stand out more and have more emphasis.

sometimes queasiness isn't always logical...
