Sailor speaks out after boat wrecked during Aberaeron harbour works A sailor has come forward after his boat was wrecked on the Aberaeron harbour construction works.

⛵I've been following the Aberaeron harbour works closely, breaking story after story as new information on what went wrong comes to light.

The latest chapter in the tale is one of a boatwreck, caused by poorly marked rocks during the breakwater construction. Read sailor Martin's story here -

Talybont flood victims don wellies and shovels planting 40,000 trees to slow the flow In the early hours of the morning Mick woke up his wife Jenny to climb out the window of their cottage on 9 June, 2012.

In the absence of any local government intervention, the Talybont Floodees took it upon themselves to protect their village.

14 years after a devastating flood, this team hike up the hills every week to plant 40,000 trees to slow the flow. This winter, they're aiming to plant another 12,000.
