My naive self forgot how much dang work goes into making cosplays. Ong 2 hours of foamsmithing later and I am still no where close to done >_<

Initial sketch

Started with a darker explosion cloud. My brain hated me after this day

Finished the boom and the orb but the explosion was too dark and paul looked too much like a burnt crepe...

And the sign off :3 I brightened the explosion up and gave paul some highlights to make him more 3 dimensional lol. Fixed the shadows and the palace

I also wanted to post the progress photos for that Dune piece... I just think it's neat :3 (Paul atreides for the algorithm gods, lol)

Paul Atreides stands in front of a large explosion from the movie Dune 2021. There is an orb to the right that is highly reflective and being absorbed by the dust cloud. Many projectiles are ejected from the cloud. Paul is cast in shadow jn the foreground but is not just a silhouette. Uh haha anyway I used alot of unbleached titanium white for this acrylic painting that took me months of thinking to get around to finishing. :3
