Emails show Amazon colluding with other firms to raise prices, California authorities allege.
What is it doing in the UK? Will any regulator even investigate?
Exec pay linked to profits. Every incentive to rig the market, fleece customers.

When I was commuting daily I think I could have justified the price, it was an e-bike and good e-bikes weren't/aren't cheap. I haven't commuted daily for years though.
Taking a picture of myself using a roadside blind spot mirror. It doesn't really work, you can't see my face due to the camera.
Post you in another country. Norway, won't be going back there on a bike in a hurry. Beautiful but not much flat land.
Quite disappointed they declared bankruptcy. Not that I was going to buy one but still...
Was classed as an e-bike, no chain just a motor you pedal and a motor for drive. www.autoevolution.com/news/revolut...

I want to know why we have security vetting of civil servants and not MPs. They should all be vetted. Every single one of them.
I also like Cardenfreude (the pedestrian’s petty pleasure when walking past miles of stationary traffic).
Picture of an ebike
"Ebikes are insanely great technology. Cheap, rugged and reliable, they're basically bicycles that abolish hills. Once you've gotten accustomed to an ebike ..you'll never go back."
The mileage is great: 625 km per $1 (390 miles).
As ever @rantyhighwayman.bsky.social is spot on.
Can you imagine expecting a defect preventing people in cars from using a road having a standard 28 day wait to fix it?
If we are serious about inclusion, then our streets must work for children, older and disabled people all the time.
Does anyone know of a good service for some one off 3d prints?

Smartphone manufacturers make their batteries hard to replace. Tough new EU rules will change that.

WHY DID BBC BREAKFAST GIVE REFORM UK A SPECIAL GRAPHIC?
A small detail in a brief report sparks some big questions about what the national broadcaster is doing during the run up to local and national elections.

Mupped on youtube who's going to report me for child endangerment for uploading a video of a driver using their mobile phone. There is what appears to be a child in the rear of the car but all we ever see is the back of her head.
Turns out the user isn't actually blocked it's just taken 24 hours for the comment to appear on the video despite appearing in my notifications within minutes
Open a private browser window and go to www.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/o... upload the pdf and download the excel spreadsheet. Repeat these steps for the next one 🙂
Driver holding a mobile phone in his right hand while interacting with a laptop computer using his left hand. Computer is on passenger seat.
Really odd one, no independent evidence so NFA 🤔 Something very dubious about this result.

I don’t think we talk nearly enough about the fact that corporations like Amazon, don’t pay a single cent to maintain the roads they use, the transportation system they use, the courts they use, they pay nothing for the infrastructure that is absolutely critical to their business.
WE Pay for
IF YOU BUILD A BIKE LANE THAT DOESN'T CONNECT TO ANOTHER BIKE LANE THEN YOU DIDN'T BUILD A BIKE LANE
The courts should stop treating driving bans like they're this big hardship. If you kill or even seriously injure someone while driving, the ban should be for life. Take the bus and cry me a fucking river.
"Data seen by The BMJ suggest that pilots, run at Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trust and subsequently promoted as a Palantir success story, are flawed"

This would be an absolutely vile thing to do. We are so much better than this. Please don’t ever vote for Reform!
The vetting was not the only reason the appointment of Mandelson was wrong. It wasn't even the main reason.
Rachel Reeves, Chris Mcdonald, Ed Miliband, Keir Starmer. All wearing fluorescent jackets.
Great how your phone gives you memories.
It's two years to the day since Rachel Reeves told me if Labour won the general election they would send the National Audit Office in to investigate the Teesworks saga.
The authority responsible hasn't published audited accounts since then, yet nothing.
Have we reached the point where it's possible to look at what shares are being bought in huge amounts (or shorted in huge amounts) and tell whether the strait of Hormuz will be closed and blockaded or open tomorrow?
By repeating bollocks like "some children self identify as a cat and the schools have to provide litter trays" you are self identifying as a gullible moron.
“The infamous Koch brothers have bankrolled climate deniers, propped up polluting industries, and even tried to turn the black community pro-fossil fuel. But, as a recent New York Times story shows, the billionaire conservatives have been steadily exerting pressure against public transit as well.”
