before anyone gets on my case about this, i understand that these games need to sell more and more copies with each release. i understand why they do this. i wish more games would go against the grain.

i don’t think its a bad thing to have your customers buy every product in a line of products.

i’m really tired of playing a game and feeling like i’m playing through a really long tutorial. monster hunter wilds is guilty of this. i’ve played every monster hunter game at this point. it’s frustrating feeling like im playing the game on baby mode until halfway through the expansion every time.

i would prefer if more games should expect you to play the previous ones.

books expect you to do it, many movies expect you to do it.

i want more devs to treat sequels like they do expansions. soon after the beginning, the content should be harder and expect more from me than the previous game.
