turns out paraglide was working fine all along, and the "change language" button on my site wasn't working because my component for meta tags was triggering state_unsafe_mutation and preventing hydration, so NONE of the onclick events were hydrated
I played this modpack once and literally all I did was running around the rooms and starving to death while my friends actually played the game
