Justice for Stephen is about all of us, every one of us, in society having justice. There are still too many young people who do not have a sense of hope, who just don't get the chance to live their dreams. I want all our children and young people to feel inspired, be confident and have hope in their own future. We are building hope but there is more to do. -Baroness Lawrence, speaking at 20th Anniversary Memorial in 2013 Screen capture from the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation website, linked to in the post.
Sheffield Green Party recognises that systemic racism is still prevalent and we must watch, guard & work to eradicate it. Our communities continue to experience aggression in many forms. We stand with them and against racism as we remember Stephen Lawrence today.

On 7 May Wales faces a choice of two futures
Ambition or division.
Plaid Cymru or Reform.
Help us elect a government that will always stand up for Wales and stop Reform by voting Plaid Cymru on 7 May.
🏴🇪🇺😎
The true face of Reform, is not Farage, the clubbable braying donkey - it’s the homophobes, racists and misogynists standing as its candidates in the coming local elections.

Four Welsh Labour women candidates have issued an eloquent denunciation of the Reform UK candidate who suggested that women should stay at home and look after their children ✍️Martin Shipton
Wales needs change but not Reform. Labour have had 27 years. Don't split the anti-Reform vote. Vote @plaidcymru.bsky.social ✊🏴
It Really Is the only option if you love Wales

Two Border Terriers surrounded by purple heather bushes in an ancient Caledonian pine forest. They are standing with alert expressions, facing the camera and looking into the distance. Taken on an August day at Rothiemurchus Forest, Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. Behind them on the right is the bottom of a Scots Pine tree. The background is blurred with purple heather bushes, trees and green vegetation

More than 70% of displaced Palestinian households in the occupied West Bank identified threats to women & children — particularly sexualised violence — as the decisive reason for leaving their communities.
Israel uses sexual violence as a weapon to force Palestinians from their homes

Robbins says that when he arrived in post, a due diligence report had been undertaken by the Cabinet Office, and the PM had announced the appointment - and [Mandelson] was already being given higher classification briefings
Robbins says there was generally dismissive attitude towards his clearance.
Almost everything we argue about is a substitute for the thing we should be arguing about: the immense wealth & power of an oligarchic class, which captures governments, ruins lives and wrecks the living planet.
This class redirects our rage at scapegoats. To resist its lies is to resist its power.
