It's been quite a while since I've been on a podcast so I was excited to get involved in this one - Daniel's great and damn is he hard working, at one point I was just wondering if I should be interviewing him about how he managed to do so much in his waking hours!

Spent a while working out an orange chicken recipe for supper, which I've never done before. Kids said it was too orangy... They do like a massive plate of stir fried chicken though so I can't complain too much.

it's not good either way round. Presumably it's a short term step towards just drawing a line and banning it outright further down the line?

Booked myself a week off next month. I can feel the stress levels messing with my attention span, which means I'll need it by the time it comes around!

Oh yes, not pretty. The binfire continues.

Note for the uninformed: Kathleen Stock is an outspoken, fanatical transphobe.

A better headline might have been "bully calls on bullying victim to put past bullying behind them (and bend over)".

Just looking at a new audio company's page, testing out their stories. Stills to dramatize scenes, but must be AI generated given the number involved, narrator clearly AI generated and so lifeless they've not found a good one. And don't even get me started on the writing...

Supreme Court takes up Catholic objection to Colorado's preschool program The Archdiocese of Denver says church-run preschools should be eligible to participate in a state-funded program without having to abide by nondiscrimination rules.

If you're tempted to get suckered in by Leo and his smooth talk, remember the Church is currently suing Colorado for the right to discriminate against women and queers. Don't let them fool you with pretty lies. You cannot be "dedicated to social justice" whilst suing for the right not to practice it

Thank god, I was feeling really down before they invented a pasta sauce that spies on us.

Libra: You will get your dream job today. Unfortunately, it's that dream where you're being chased by fanged clowns with bloody cleavers trying to give you a copy of Dianetics.

Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.

Normally I binge an album after I buy it for a while, then calm down. Oddly, I gave Everybody Scream a few listens then put it into normal rotation, but I've found myself binging it these last few weeks. Maybe just jealousy over those who've see Florence live...

AI is tobacco. That's the model. The more you use it, the more you need it. Then they jack up the price.

I wish we could skip to the bit where Starmer's gone and centrists have stopped writing desperate thinkpieces about how Wes Streeting is strong and stable leadership that will save Labour.

strange these op-eds about women being too angry have all come out the last few days when during the same time there's also been a massive investigation published on an online rape academy with millions of viewers a month and none of them have bothered to even cover it, even as news

I probably don't even want to know how harlequins did against Bath. Can't imagine how it could have been good, given the season so far.

yup, no doubt at all. All authors need to push back so the editors can demonstrate how angry people are, the board don't care what their staff think and never have

Anyone who received their postal ballot today in the South of Scotland region, please be aware that "Independent Green Voice", which appears second on the list on the peach regional ballot paper, is NOT the Scottish Green Party. This is in fact a deliberate vote spoiling attempt by right-wingers.

Not once in the 80s, 90s or 00s do I recall a politician urging the public to embrace email, mobile phones, texting, two factor authentication, online banking, air fryers, or to replace all their cassette collection with a CD collection.

So forgive me if I smell a rat.
