It's fascinating to me how the Hurricanes are approaching 150 consecutive sellouts but rank behind numerous minor league markets when it comes to watching the sport.

It's still a struggle to get bars to show Canes games by default. Not sure what the reasons are.

Are we getting a View Bar review tonight?

Shocked there isn't a sponsor lined up for it, and pls actually have the game on TVs and not ads like 90% of the monitors already around the concourses.

Believe that max number in that post will be for basketball/concerts with standing room. Also do recall one of the architecture studies a few years ago showed that especially on the sides the number of aisles could be cut down, the seats slightly widened, and the net was still more seating.

Gonna be awesome when the Panthers come into the Lenny next week, pull the same shit, and everyone for Carolina just stands around dumbfounded. At some point you need to need to kick sand in the bully’s face

The Canes are mental midgets and the sooner everyone can admit that, the sooner they’ll get over the hump.

Lenovo Center development won’t impact NC State football parking in 2026 Work on the potential $1B development around the home of the NC State men’s basketball program and Carolina Hurricanes hockey team was expected to start this month.

Pittsburgh still has a pile of gravel on the site of the old Igloo across the street from PPG after 15 years. Given how long it's taking to take out a few rows of seats/put in a bar at the Lenny, we're probably cruising for a similar fate.

Which is bad for fans because that creates artificial scarcity.

The team lends ticketing inventory on consignment to secondary markets directly so they get a cut as well when they sell. They aren't technically 'sold' in the traditional sense but they can claim them as such.

I beg the people that only follow hockey obsessively to follow other sports or get a hobby that makes you miss a game or two.

No turnover. Caught the dang ball and tackled. Never a doubt. Next Saturday will be one for the books.

I'm not affected since my seats are in Fan Zone and are pretty much discount-proof, but if I were shelling out $125+ a game in the sideline/premium areas I'd be peeved that people could get my category for much less.

Anyone need #Canes tickets for Thanksgiving? STM that'll be out of town with a pair of seats available in 315, Row G. Above the doorway w/no one in front of you. Price is total for both tickets (no parking). #CarolinaCulture #RaiseUp

I’m sure creative accounting will be done to keep the sellout streak alive, but woof on this crowd tn

Massive Ban Wave Targets OldTweetDeck Users Following X’s Crackdown on Third-Party Access A widespread ban wave has hit OldTweetDeck users as X suspends accounts for “inauthentic behavior,” marking the end of the free TweetDeck alternative.

Do you use Old Tweetdeck? Seems that might be the reason for bans.

You can't park there. That's where arena/concession employees park and you'll need a special pass to get in.

NO, QUIT IN NEW YORK!

It’s below average for an NHL facility. Reno will help some, but yeah, smashing as many seats as possible into that footprint makes for a pretty miserable viewing experience

The Brandon Bussi arc has been fun, but people thinking he should stay on the team over Kooch need to stop eating paint chips.

Did not have eight-minute opening drive with three fourth-down conversions on my bingo card for Pitt today. Goodness that was beautiful

There's also that subset of people in that group that seem to want Chicago to be more successful than the Canes. Completely forgetting that it's OK if the AHL team suffers if it means NHL improvement lol.

Can add a tier for "Former Player Play-by-Play Provider" ensuring the world knows each time Martin Necas, Burns, etc. breathes.

The whole Canes/Hart/McLeod saga was such an insane and preventable self-own. Even without these guys signing, you now have guys like Staal and RBA on the record sounding like jackasses when there was no reason to put them in that position to begin with.

Ticket cancellations would need to be overwhelming. Like half the arena. They are just a small piece of the pie.

Only way a true backlash would register is if Lenovo, PNC, UNC Health, etc. all go to them saying we don't want this.

This is a billion-dollar, for-profit business. Not some bastion of morality. You will not find that in any pro (or college) sport.

A lot of people are forgetting that at least 50% of the people coming through the doors on a given night aren't online enough to know what happened in this scandal. The idea that a couple dozen people sending emails will change the team's mind is setting yourself up for disappointment.
