This brings me so much joy!!

@crowlines.net has a delightful gull top. @morningwitch.com also has nature themed clothing.
I am so relieved to find out fellow reptile keepers have this recurring dream. In one, I had to set up emergency frog enclosures and I don't even have frogs in real life.
A black wok on a glass stovetop holds a dish of Pineapple Fried Rice.
I love to cook and bake. My chronic illness and resulting disability has made that very difficult. I made a commitment to find accessible ways back into the kitchen this year. This wok hasn't benn used in at least 5 years but it's out tonight. Pineapple Fried Rice.
Ricotta cheese and mini pepperoni bites. I eat them together in a bowl but civilized individuals may choose to wrap in a tortilla.
A mostly white calico cat looks longingly into a metal Christmas popcorn bucket. In the background are bookshelves and Christmas decorations.
Chloe is considering some petty theft from the Christmas popcorn tin. She deserves a little treat. We all do.
When the dictionary takes your worsening chronic illness more seriously than your doctors.
Tally ho, 2026!
I hope 2026 is kind to us all
A mostly white calico cat looks at the camera while lounging on a white blanket set on a sage green couch. The cat is surrounded by three Christmas pillows. Left pillow has a blue octopus with a santa hat and the text "Be Merry", the middle pillow is a calico cat shaped with a santa hat. The right pillow is white with red text, "Meowy Christmas."
Hello from Maryland, USA.
sweet-faced tabby cat sitting at a table with front paws on the edge of the table.
Looking for a Christmas miracle for a kitty (aging parent situation) for Baltimore pals: (1/2)
""My mom can no longer keep Angelo (alas!!!) and we are looking to rehome him. Angelo is a total sweetheart. He is 6 years old, gentle, playful, friendly, and a lovebug."
A close photo of a mostly white cat laying on her side in the sunshine, with her eyes closed. She is on top of a orangey-brown wooden floor with her back against a glass door. Through the door, various garden flowers and tree are visible. So is a cloud-free blue sky. Of particular note, the sunbeams are shining through her ears, turning them a delightful shade of pink.
Chloe and her sunbeam for #caturday taxes.
Text that reads "Hint 100: Near Tamu Tamu Refreshments, on the walkway that connects Africa and Asia, a small utility cover and the pebbles adjacent to it form a classic Mickey. Here, the utility cover has the letter 'S' in the middle."
Animal Kingdom. Attached is a photo of the hint text from Steve Barrett's Field Guide (6th edition 2013)
It could also be available as a liquid that you insert into her cheek pouch. If the pills don't work, see if the medication is available in a transdermal application. You rub it into the cat's ear. I found it more expensive but it was the last resort for my other cat that refused everything else.

I'm not sure if these are available in your country, but I used them for my cat. Other options are finding out if the medication can be coated to hide the taste. Or you might need to force her to swallow by throwing it down her throat. That sounds scary but there are YouTube tutorials to teach you.
A grid with four photos from Walt Disney World. 1: the sign for Shark Reef, a defuct experience at Typhoon Lagoon. 2: a hidden Mickey consisting of stones around a sewer manhole cover. 3: a pastry known as school bread from the EPCOT Norway Pavilion 4: a ride sign the reads "Jingle Cruise" which is the Christmas overlay of the Jungle Cruise attraction.
Welcome Home!
A mostly white calico cat is curled up asleep on a green couch. Her dark tail is wrapped around her.
Chloe is tired but willing to show up for Caturday.
A photo of a teal cane with a makeshift leash. A stretchy telephone cord bracelet is attached to the black handstrap.
At 5'2", I have a hard time finding canes that are short enough. Proper height with a sturdy but comfortable grip are my favorite features. I also rig up a leash system to "hold" it on my wrist for when I need wash my hands. I've never seen an aftermarket accessory like that, so I made on.
Lobster!
Advent=Christmas=Love Actually=sea creature nativity play
"There was more than one lobster present at the birth of Jesus?"
A 24" tall stick of a sapling sits in a small black pot. A wide, sloping yard is visible in the background.
We got this free swamp oak from our local Subaru dealer. I feel like I know how to care for the car my than this tree but she's got tons of friends here.
Jam & Custard Cream biscuits.

Chloe was quite impressed with tonight's episode of "Secrets of the Octopus." Maybe she did learn something from attending squid class with @sarahmackattack.bsky.social last Fall.

One would be shocked at the things you can quesadilla. Same formula of a protein +veg+cheese. Tortillas last longer than loaf bread and can be more accessible to make at home with limited experience. Pita, naan, crepe are other base options.
Powered milk and butter are great pantry staples too.
Classic NIMBY.

A mostly white calico cat stares directly at the camera. She is partially wrapped in a white and green blanket while laying stretched out on a couch. She is cozy and you are jealous.
Chloe present herself for show and tell.
My third childhood cat was called D.C. It stood for Dumb Cat because he routinely fell off the whatever furniture he was sitting on the first week I had him. I still beg his ghost for forgiveness.
“I don’t know how you do it! I could never be chronically ill!”
We didn’t get a choice. No one asked our permission. Disability just happens. It can happen to you too.
We cope because we have no choice. We can’t trade our bodies in for new ones. We can’t “try harder” our way out of it.
I routinely send the "full of soup cat" as a meme to my husband after I eat soup. It brings me such joy!
