I’ll be there at 1700 at the latest. Slow day at the office today.

That’s what the rumors say! Will I see you at the OSR meetup tonight?

I hope @bastionland.bsky.social isn't sending everyone two copies of Mythic Bastionland by mistake?

I got one two weeks back, and then another copy arrived today with EB.

I hear that UKGE is fun and all but I stayed home to run my first marathon and that was obviously the more fun destination.

This morning’s run filled me with joy when I found two beavers having breakfast by the path.

I waved. They nodded.

This was made by Jack of Röda Pesten, so look up their podcast if you know Swedish and are into RPG podcasts.

And if you want to know more about the Swedish con scene you can watch this clip Colin made with a short explanation by @algstrand.bsky.social

Another great thing I was handed at #gothcon was this. A bootleg Swedishfan translation of #cy_borg. Complete with stolen art, a recognizable layout style, and hand bound in a (now?) dirty t-shirt or some such.

I love it.

Someone at #GothCon handed me this. They had gone through thousands of photos from past conventions to find pics of people dressed in black to make several of these. Only to hand out to other black dressed people at this years con.

Amazing.

Actually trying out the games that interest me is so much better than the usual "read about them and dream about it"-approach I've tried recent years.

I ran a one-shot in Wraithlands (by @wraithlands.bsky.social) yesterday and had a blast. Used the Somersdair's Forge as an isolated dungeon and that worked well.

I may try this again sometime, maybe the upcoming Munkcon or so.

Thanks! I’ll look closer at them and see what I come up with.

I wrote this in anger sometime in November. Today seemed like an appropriate day to release it.

I’m looking for a interesting game to run a ~3 hour one-shot, Wraithlands by @wraithlands.bsky.social might do, but are there any recommended one-shot suitable parts of the hexcrawl in the book or elsewhere?

I really like that. Escalating risk, and possibly reward.

And so far Obsidan truly beats my previous "3 spreadsheets, five .txts and a folder of 100 pictures" attempt to document this.

This is a simplified view since some core relationships may not show up due to how I'm working with Obisidian and Dataview.

My usual campaign prep is a lot of writing tables and some core principles (or entire games/worlds, but that's usually tables+principles).
I wanted something different this time. Different type of game/genre/campaign than my go to.

So say hello to the links/relations of my first 55 named npcs.

In Cy this would be considered theft. To encourage and help people to use a product without paying for it.

We don’t live in Cy. Yet.

I had to verify my email to be able to post this, and the confirmation code was (if you removed two letters) KNOB WANT.
