Genuinely spoilt that I can decide between Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common for walks and be at either in 5 minutes. Current fave is Wimbledon - less tourists and potential for a Fenton moment

So my daughter has gone to Nightingale Lane this evening for the beautiful sunset inspired by RAYE but there is not a lot to see there apart from the excellent assisted living facilities at Nightingale House

I read that year 9 is a teacher’s least favourite year group and I can verify that I was absolutely awful in year 9, playing up and getting sent out of lessons for kicks. Have had issues with both my kids at this age. Looking forward to getting past it for the last time 😒

I like that the community it’s aimed at have taken on board the spirit of something that is a work in progress, so the feedback is constructive or just super enthusiastic. Credit to @tpximpact.com as it’s been in my head for 2 years and we needed a service designer to make it real (and better!)

In a win for working in the open, we published something last week that I didn’t want to shout about because it was ‘draft’ (aka a prototype) but others picked it up, sharing it and the feedback inbox and it’s been reposted 69 times on LinkedIn with a lot of enthusiastic comments 😬

Home of Metal | Episode 1 At the 1 in 12 Club – A Place of Resistance

Bradford City of Culture has funded this 3 part podcast oral history of the 1 in 12 club and some refurb. I only went a handful of times, but the friendly community and bias for action helped me to put out records and put on gigs (plus making hummus for the bands!) homeofmetal.com/episode-1-at...

Unbelievable thing happened at our social yesterday where some
people stayed out till 1am! Maybe times are changing? I was - of course - tucked up in my hotel bed watching the ice skating at 9.30 and fast asleep moments later!

Great post. Reminds me of my pal Davie calling out people having more fun making a product than people are using it. You’d think the market would correct that but it doesn’t work like that
