You can do either, although it's hard to advise without context. If you switch pov within a chapter (perfectly common) make sure the transition is clear, either by using a line or scene break or by signalling the shift through your writing. Avoiding reader confusion is key.
Cover of the Casefile of Jay Moriarty by Kit Walker: A person in a dark hoodie sitting on a concrete slab and looking out over a city at night.
If you're looking for something for Trans Rights Readathon #TRR this hits the spot. Well-written, entertaining, and clever. Lovely relationship arc developing, and a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the next collection of stories. CW: Beware the Tiger chapter if you love animals. Read the reviews.
It is good!
Lovely! Worldbuilding and voice.
The voice of this story is simply beautiful. If you're studying how to get more worldbuilding into the wrinkles of your sentences, read @jenniferhudak.bsky.social.
It is! It's so gentle and kind, and beautifully written.
Cover of Mr Collins in Love by Lee Welch. It is pale green with a border of ferns and wildflowers, and a horse and cart in silhouette.
I've seen so many recs for this from #Romancelandia, but somehow didn't feel it would be for me. How wrong I was! I'm halfway through, and it's utterly lovely β€οΈ Do read it! #AmReading #Romance

A wide sandy beach under a blue sky with white clouds. There are mountains in the distance, and in the foreground, a hand reaches out to pat a small (very old) dog.

Photo of a black and white cat merrily pawing at my jumper while sitting on my knee uninvited.
Yes, that is my new jumper you're mangling, thank you! Cat-sitting is a mixed pleasure... πββ¬οΈ
Backwater?
I feel for you. I once had a load of logs dropped in our lane (rather than winched into our yard as agreed), blocking access for 15 neighbours. I spent hours furiously flinging the logs individually over the back wall in the rain until the kids got home and helped - once they'd stopped laughing.

Iβm currently looking for recommendations for CanCon editors or freelance editors who have experience working with apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic fiction. If you know someone who specializes in this genre (developmental, line, or copy editing), Iβd really appreciate any referrals. #BookSky

The heavily leaned-on preferred Govt option got 3% of the votes.
Lots of goodness here! π
Starting my annual re-read a bit early as I need the uplift right now. Beginning with The Ruin of Gabriel Ashleigh, of course. A perfect short storyβ€οΈ #Romancelandia #BookSky #AmReading
