Note that example is using /O1 (optimise for size), if you switch it to /O2 (optimise for speed) then it generates the same code for both versions. (I know your point here is more about code readability than compiled output though).

I use Govee devices via the HASS add on, MQTT integration and govee2mqtt github.com/wez/govee2mqtt and it finds and controls all my Govee devices no problem. Recommend checking out those options if you haven’t already. I set all devices to LAN control in the Govee app too.

Checked my Amiga disk box and found “Spaceballs” (state of the art), 9 Fingers, 242 and The Last Finger 😀

Indeed the scaling itself is amazing as it’s way better than just a straight resize. That intro does look very similar! I think the 242 one might be doing some cross-fading between frames too as it feels like it has “trails” (unless that was in the source video) whereas the Razor one feels cleaner.

Thanks! So it’s just low res with a nice up-scaler, I guess that makes sense but sad it’s not something really special as I was in awe of it as a kid 😀
