exactly!! drives me nuts when people think they that grief is linear or only lasts a finite amount of time! no one should feel pressure to “get over” any kind of trauma or loss

don’t let anyone tell you how long or how to grieve in general cause i spent most of my therapy session talking about my best friend who died in 2015 and almost 10 years later i still go through waves of excruciating pain from his loss
