Somehow the idea of having an ex-Games Workshop narrative designer GM a campaign fills me with…dread. It would be stupidly good. But also, *dangerously* good.
I know it's not the most exciting thing, but hunting down locali(s/z)ation bugs and triggers a major "Almost Release Time!" dopamine hit somewhere deep in my UI designer brain.

Another week, another victory mode for Pieces of the Kingdom: this is *Regicide Mode*, where taking the enemy's leader is an instant victory.
What would otherwise be a suicide attack is now a decisive blow!

Playing with something a little more traditional: third-person character movement (sneak, run, sprint, jump), gamepad-friendly controls, and mesh navigation.
Not sure what, if anything, I'll do with all of this, but it's feeling pretty snappy and nice to run around with!

You still have the most *gloriously fun* UI I've seen in ages.
No chess pieces in Pieces of the Kingdom wear proper trenchcoats, but the Queen does saunter around the board in a glorious floor-length dress. Surely that counts?
