but anyway, I've been working on the camera system, it now works a bit like how sonic cd handles its camera system, it's a bit jarring in places though so maybe I'll make it optional...

I don't know if I'll release rocket anymore or not, part of me wants to continue but I don't know if it will work out because it's just me making it. I'll still probably upload stuff as a portfolio piece but other than that I'm not sure about the future of this project anymore, I'll think about it.
alot has changed from when i posted updates here, i've been working on a new level, "wild wildgarden". ofcourse, it's very much a wip.

Rocket is at this year's sage
Im at the point where im basically finished making a demo for ROCKET!!, it's a surreal feeling, having something once only imagined manifested into reality... I wonder if I can make it in time for this year's SAGE, probably not, but it's fun to think about.
the answer was to just lump the whole thing together
graphic design is not my passion...
I may change the UI/Titlescreen if I can, im not fully satisfied with it, but it's the best I can do thus far so oh well...
I've been working on UI stuff as of late, though im not good at that kind of stuff... but I'm nearly done with the main foundations of ROCKET!!, after that, all i'll need to worry about is making the rest of the game/bug fixes (if there are still any)

some small gameplay with small updates, there's less & less to show, and yet, there's still alot more to do...

...at least, I hope I did, I don't want to waste time debugging a timer............
I fixed it, the issue was it was a byte instead of an int.
There is a bug in my timer, it seems to happen after about 4-5 minutes, fixing it is probably simple, but I need to wait about 4-5 minutes to find out more about what exactly is wrong, pain.
smiley guys
This is only funny to me, but I'll share anyway,
There was this issue I thought was a collision bug where it went too fast to properly detect objects, but another bug that came about as I was trying to fix it showed me there was never any issue in the first place, I was just sliding under stuff...
Frog boss, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it in or not, but it's implemented
#godot #gamedev #indiedev
no... he needs to be even more evil....
evil frog
They're implemented, I also gave them a little bounce effect when hit
I made a guy
primitive checkpoints, a primitive menu & other primitives has been implemented, really, most things here are primitive right now, but more & more it's starting to feel like a real game
level transitions are roughly implemented, alot of things needs to be worked on though
one more for now, I'm just testing godot's recording stuff
a project of mine, it's rough around the edges, but it's getting there.
O.o
