Maybe it’s because I’m fresh out of law school, but we were taught that you cannot use “id.” for a string cite. I would use a full citation for all.

Before the Court started taking fewer cases, was it still the practice of the SG’s office to argue all the cases themselves? Or did other parts of DOJ argue cases that the SG either didn’t want to or couldn’t handle?
