13. Randy Feltface: First Banana
Haven’t seen a ton of Randy Feltface before, but I was really impressed with how smart the jokes were throughout this special. I was cracking up left and right.

The most bad-ass rebuttal from Tite Kubo, the author of Bleach.
12. Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair
It’s alright, I guess. Some jokes fall flat but it has its moments.
11. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
More or less my same feelings as the first film. Nothing amazing, but a fun time if you’re a Mario fan like me. That said, it does go too fast in the second half and I’m surprised they didn’t include Rosalina’s backstory. I found the jokes funnier this time, though.

It's not talked about as often, but after Cave Story and La-Mulana blew up I'd say the third indie Metroidvania to truly take off was Dust: An Elysian Tail. It's not talked about as often anymore, but the story was more pronounced than others of its kind and the combat was fast and kinetic.

Lrp I am once again humbly recommending everyone to read these two novels.
When you're leaving the cinema but there's a mid-credits scene

10. Flip 7
A simple, fun, and addicting card game. Beware if you aren’t the lucky type, though.
Life's too short to fret about online video game discourse.
9. God of War: Sons of Sparta
A decent metroidvania. A lot of the boss fights suck and it doesn’t really do anything amazing, but I enjoyed it well enough overall.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s like a 6/10 at best. I mean the first movie was fun but nothing amazing. But holy crap some of these early reviews are venomous and I can’t help but raise an eyebrow.
The Mario Galaxy Movie killed my grandma, okay?
In the spirit of trans visibility, lemme just plug my ongoing project to document as many pre-2010 games as possible that had a trans person on the dev team. You might be surprised by what's on there. There's games going right back to the sixties!

8. Reanimal
Tarsier Studios at their best. It’s a near perfect blend of unsettling, shocking, mysterious, and suspenseful.
“Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle” autographed by Grant Kirkhope.
Back from Kansas City Comic Con! Had a great time and got to meet the legendary @grantkirkhope.bsky.social! He was incredibly nice and he autographed my copy of Mario + Rabbids!
i love this image because it implies that the key to taking down the personification of death itself is shrek

7. One Piece Live Action (Season 2)
SO. GOOD. This right here is how you do a live action adaptation. Continues Season 1’s approach of clearly respecting the source material while making beneficial changes. Also, Episode 7 made me cry.
6. Blackberry
A well-acted and interesting biopic that is impressively clever in a lot of areas. Very good movie.
Surprised SpongeBob and Patrick
Just watched the new Digital Circus episode
The most culturally impactful game of the last 10 years looks like this.
Scott McCloud "Explaining Comics" panels where one is himself in a cartoony style and the second is in a realistic style, In the first panel he says, "That's why I decided to draw myself in such a simple style." In the second he says, "Would you have listened to me if I looked like this??" The first panel has been edited to be labeled "DLSS 5 Off", the second edited with "DLSS 5 On"
Ew. Gross. Icky. Hate it.
