Majah can absolutely build a bookshelf. She might complain about the instructions being "wrong" (IE: not to the specifics she would use) but it will get built.

Honestly, pretty close to her in-game voice, but a bit deeper in pitch. It's bright, has some scratch/gravel to it, and ranges from being kinda quiet to being very unrestrained.

The more and louder she laughs around you, the more comfortable she is.
