In really specific niches, all I'm watching lately is Korean shows about law enforcement and shamanism. The fact that there are multiple entries in this genre, and that I can access them easily in English, is buckwild.

A letter of complaint with the school board CC 'd wouldn't go amiss. I'm furious on your behalf.

I stacked coupons like a pro and now I'm gonna replace all the stinky yard pots and smashed up wood that the snowplow decimated with nice metal container gardens.

I can't find that comic where the girl presents her argument for getting the inuyasha manga to her mom and winds up with mangoes. I can see it in my mind but I can't remember the name of the artist!

I got my first hidden blind box BJD! Jinzhao here apparently is supposed to represent wealth and longevity, which is well timed since between ordering the box and receiving it, our household became unexpectedly funemployed!

An image of Calvin and Hobbes reading comics in their living room.

The immense popularity of “Calvin and Hobbes,” often called “the last great newspaper comic,” can risk obscuring its many inspirations & antecedents. In both style & content, the strip is very well-versed in the rich history of comics and often pays tribute to its influences. 1/12 #CalvinAndHobbes

But I will say that Taki Soma and Mike Oeming saw that I was out of my depth immediately and gave me a personal phone number with instructions to call if anything uncomfortable happened at the show, and I will never forget that kindness.
