I got my first hidden blind box BJD! Jinzhao here apparently is supposed to represent wealth and longevity, which is well timed since between ordering the box and receiving it, our household became unexpectedly funemployed!

It was gross! Thank goodness it was a small event that seems largely unremembered.

But I will say that Taki Soma and Mike Oeming saw that I was out of my depth immediately and gave me a personal phone number with instructions to call if anything uncomfortable happened at the show, and I will never forget that kindness.

Anyway. I'm not naming the badly behaved men since they have already either vanished from the field or gone out a fiery explosion of their own making.
