You can tell who the horror fans/creators are by the questions they ask.

So grateful that I don't have a job where I wake up going "I don't want to go to work" because of what I do. Now I've woke up saying that because my back, hip or knee hurt; but not because of my job. So many never get to experience that with what they do for a living.
the original Sla Industries setting. The current of edition of Sla feels like a bland phoned in version with very little of what made it cool left inside. That and with that system it would definitely get rid of the 'big guns and big armor' vibe that has always been there.
A friend and I are talking about taking #SlaIndustries (1st edition setting) and transferring it over to the Year Zero Engine from #FreeLeaguePublishing. Calling it Sla Zero or something catchy. Mainly because we really like the Year Zero Engine and we really like...
Same here. Watching other people play a game just doesn't work for me at all. Rule discussions, short examples of play, all that is fine. But full on actual plays just bore me to death for some reason.
We've got hardcopies of this at the shop. I have to say it's a really good looking product with a fun premise. #CallOfCthulhu #ttrpg www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/5...
Gamers! My friend Jodi Black of Pinnacle Entertainment Group and Legacy Game Tables is in a hospital ICU, on the list for a lung transplant, and she could use your help.

They are doing well on digging through the mystery and have narrowed it down to two different Vaesen they think is behind the mystery. All are looking forward to continuing it next week. This is a game we all really enjoy, system and setting. Two thumbs up.
It was the hunter who is a woman. The player, well she doesn't like braggart men in RL. The NPC agreed but said "Don't worry, I'll go easy on you". Yeah she nailed the roll and won, the other players cheered had a great roleplay moment as the NPC stormed off.
One of the best moments so far has been early on one of the male NPC's challenges the toughest looking male PC to an arm wrestling contest. The PC lost the contest and the NPC started bragging about it quite a bit so one of the other PC's stepped up.
In today's #Vaesen game I started my group on the first mystery out of the Seasons of Mystery book called "A Dance With Death". I'm enjoying running the adventure and the players are loving it as well. #ttrpg www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/3...
So I guess we wait and see how soon until Bluesky shits itself again. I'm sure somebody has started up a betting pool on this already.
Exactly one year ago today:
Aesops Treasury Books and Games in Farmington Missouri, we have a bit of a #ttrpg selection.
All of my #stockart over on @drivethrurpg.com is currently on the site wide stock art sale. So it's just 75 cents a pop. #ttrpg www.drivethrurpg.com/en/publisher...
I've still got the original playtest document for 'Those Dark Places' from 2009 - it was a totally different beast back then, far removed from the streamlined version I ended up writing.
I'll have to make it available, it's a full sci-fi TTRPG in itself.
Now while I'm not a WotC fan I will say that the new #Ravenloft books sounds more like a sourcebook and not just another campaign. Which would mean that (gasp) somebody has been listening to what the customers want. #ttrpg #DnD wpn.wizards.com/en/products/...
For those that don't know they screwed up the Deck of Many Things cards so bad that after the preview copies were opened and people were dogging on them they scrapped all the cards and did a full reprint delaying it's release by months.
Okay so WotC is printing their own spell cards now starting with the updated Tarokka Deck for the new Ravenloft book. Any bets on how bad they'll mess these cards up? #ttrpg #DnD

I'm sure the residents of Festus would gladly let St. Louis have the datacenter.
D6 Star Wars, and the D6 system were so good, I could just seem to get in a group that was running it and would stay together for more than a month.
Guess I'm Ranch College Dropout.
My plan is to do the first part of Seasons of Mystery next and then sprinkle in mysteries from A Wicked Secret between the seasons. I played the game at a con last year and was hooked. So far I've ran the starter kit and the corebook mysteries.
I'm thinking the game didn't sell anywhere near what they were expecting. Shops that ordered from Modiphius at GAMA got a free 'GAMA extra' with their orders, which turned out to be six copies of the core rulebook. Probably attempting to clear their warehouse.

Bradstreet art from early White Wolf is simply amazing. It locked me in as a fan of him for life.
The solo game sounds awesome and they're so close to getting it.
Well in the #Vaesen game that I'm running my group has solved their first mystery. The one out of the corebook. It was a really good time all around. I find myself recommending the game to others. Can't wait to start the next mystery. #ttrpg www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/3...
Always watch out for scams folks. This guy looks into one rather deeply and warns us all. #ttrpg professor-grimm.com/blogs/ttrpg/...
