in my head it goes like this: one of those popular man-on-street interview shows flags me down and asks what's my take on tuna salad. my take on tuna salad? my take is this: I'll take two. and it goes viral. everyone loves it. a real sensation. then they put me in the movies.

at the library yesterday I showed Olive my book on the shelf. I turned to my author photo and she said, "why is your picture in that book?"
