National Gender Service can't close waiting list - HSE The HSE has advised the National Gender Service that it does not have the authority to close its waiting list, despite the service announcing plans to do so earlier this week.

There was some pushback as to whose authority the waitlist falls under, but it remains to be seen whether or not they went ahead with it.

As of March 1st, Ireland is collapsing its healthcare for Trans people. Here, they shut down its waiting list despite thousands of people still needing care. Instead of implementing an informed consent model that would relieve this pressure.

First of all, weak shit. I’ve studied detransition. I know many people who have. Researchers aren’t discouraged from doing it, they’re discouraged from doing it ~poorly.~
