Agreed but otoh I've not yet heard anything in Hades 2 that made me just stop dead quite like Eurydice...

Agreed though that deflected attacks suck. Felt arbitrary.

Not my favourite but she's up there. Because A, she kicked my ass and made me struggle like few act 3 bosses did, B, she looks and sounds beautiful, C, it's a pretty unique feeling fight, D, I loved being able to go ham with tools.

By the way, not certain if it's your sort of game or not, but I would be very happy if we ever got a video on Clair Obscur. Because god damn did that game make me feel things, and it went to some places that games do not often dare to venture.

@noahgervais.bsky.social Three videos in three days? Hadn't realised my birthday was so early this year.

It's promising to see them imposing order without resorting to the brutality of Assad. I expected worse from HTS than we're seeing - long may that continue.

Incredibly, this is the first triple rune card printed since Climactic Necrotic Explosion back in FoL! Which as a rune system hater, I'm glad about. I do find it funny though that a card that'd likely see only limited play with no runes, for some reason has 3.

Fresh out of shillings I'm afraid.

Easily my favorite of the sequel trilogy. At least it tried things.

Editor: You get those photos of Adrien Brody promoting his new three and a half hour movie about architecture where he plays a Holocaust survivor?

Photographer: Sure did boss, real fuckin sexy just like you asked.

Editor: what.

I don't think I'll ever stop, and I hope I don't. Gaming finds new ways to blow my mind and expand my understanding of what's artistically possible every year.

Little bit sad that by the end, S2 Arcane had drifted so far away from the elements that made me fall in love with it. But that said, I still had a lot of fun with it and I can't wait to see what Fortiche do next.

I don't really know where it came from. Funnily enough I *do* think about the Roman empire quite often, because one of my favourite historians specialises in Roman history and posts about it on Twitter decently often.

Also because I wish to be like the Roman empire and get destroyed by goths.
