when I watched this week's Heated Rivalry, I levitated three feet in the air and my eyes glowed gold and my veins were coursing with liquid fire.

I saw it at a movie festival in November and... it's bad.
The animation is serviceable and the voice cast is okay, but the changes to the story infantilize it and the modernisation simultaneously dilutes the original message AND any criticism of current sociopolitics.
The 1999 movie is better.
