How I made my skills update themselves · Joost.blog Skills install as loose folders with no package manager. Here's the pattern I landed on after publishing a first attempt and getting corrected on LinkedIn.

I posted about self-updating skills. I had searched and not found a better method, but asked for input. And I got it! So now, the updated version of my post tells you how to make your skills update easily:

Unfortunately I think there's an issue getting an update from #GitUpdater 12.23.x to 12.24.0 a manual update will be required.

Can be done via the update webhook and adding `&plugin=git-updater`query arg to the webhook. The base for the webhook is found in the Remote Management tab.

For slightly over a year, Joost de Valk and I have been trying to get FAIR "off the ground" for the WordPress ecosystem. We have now come to the conclusion that funding this effort is not going to happen. But... there's a silver lining!
