So the calc for number of subpools unchanged and needing 128 CPU for the full allocation, rather than topping out when you have 28.
I foresee manually reducing it for large and heavily parallel DW processing, but better for very large OLTP.

Interesting and undocumented changes in SGA management in Oracle 26ai:
- Up to 31 subpools in the shared pool (max seven in 19c defined by _kghdsidx_count)
- Subpools are split into thee durations (there were only two in 19c)
31 seems ripe for extra ORA-4031’s - trade off for the concurrency I suppose. Same cpu breakdown?
But I like the reduction in granule size. 512M was always too big, but across 31 subpools would be mad 😁
(I’d love to investigate but no massive server access at the moment)
