My local library collects them for this very purpose!
Chloe had often planned theoretically perfect days. As long as every task took its expected time, down to the minute, she could manage everything. In practice, this never actually worked for the primary reason that Chloe was not perfect, and for the secondary reason that she wished she were.
The Wedgeford Trials by Courtney Milan covers for The Duke who Didn't, The Marquis who Mustn't, and The Earl who Isn't
The heroine is clipboard-dependent.
The hero has no idea what he's doing.

They weren’t all perfect but they were all incredibly compelling and I could not put them down. If you have hoopla access, they have all the books and in audio as well, except for the most recent book.
way, I'm glad that I saved Darby's book for last because she had endured so much trauma in a previous book, it was really good to see her getting her much deserved HEA. (I don't think the spin-off series is complete but for now, I'm all caught up).
Once again, thanks to whoever recommended Toni Anderson to me. Because of them, I basically inhaled all 22 books in the Cold Justice series (which includes 2 spin-off series) in the past 2 months. I even read all the little freebie shorts set in this universe. I read kind of out of order but in a

FYI this was a 5 star banger and the Palace of Rogues is my favorite JAL series.

lol just saw your goodreads comment. It feels like that’s her style lately. I just read an arc of her upcoming one and the villain is outed in the first chapter.
👀 ooh which one are you reading??
Nurse Matt, a young white man with dark brown hair parted down the the middle. He's wearing a stethoscope and scrubs and is standing a hospital setting. He's looking excited and saying, "I tried Reb Lobster--"
Nurse Matt finishing his sentence with, "--great hot dog."
nurse matt from st denis medical should have a guest cameo on the pitt as nurse matt
Listening to Cold as Ice which is my last remaining unread Cold Justice book and wow, I really did power through all 22 books since February. They were INCREDIBLY compelling and clearly, I was riveted.

Next time you want to argue about why we’d pick the bear every single time, I present -
Reading an arc of Julie Anne Long’s Game of Rogues and her prose is unmatched. Just top tier chef’s kiss goodness.
Now that I am about to finish my Toni Anderson Cold Justice series binge, I’m gonna reread Ilona Andrews Hidden Legacy via audio. The narrator is new to me but I see the first 3 (+ the novella) have 2 versions, one with a dramatized adaptation. Anyone listen to both or either and have any thoughts?
All my Kali Decker novellas are on sale for $0.99! Get some high-heat instalust so D2D doesn't punish me this year!

My dog was on a leash. Hers wasn’t.
In a dog park or a fenced in area, sure, in a busy neighborhood with lots of cars and bikes, no!
Also, yes, she was. IYKYK.
Also dogs running around off leash (unless you’re in a dog park or some place fenced in) makes me furious and I’m not interested in debating ANYONE on this. If you disagree, then know that you’re wrong and just keep it moving.
I got into an argument with a woman while walking my dog today bc apparently expecting people to have their dogs on a leash is asking for too much. So, here’s me wishing happy Wednesday to everyone except her.

You all are talking about “the Pope is weak on crime” and I feel like the real gem is “should get his act together as Pope.”
I generally don’t listen to or read anything coming out of that man’s mouth but “the pope is weak on crime” is so fucking funny I can’t stop giggling.
I’ll never get tired of showing off my peonies
Well done Hungary!
