I pointed out that it was fascist—which resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!).

He’s said he’ll protect his player in public as if they are his own sons. Maybe if he was a bit more outspoken about protecting women the fan base wouldn’t have as much of a problem with him.

This shouldn’t really need explaining. If you search online “why do victims of domestic violence stay with their abuser” you’ll find lots of information. Women’s Aid has some good stuff on this. The problem is with the abuser, not the victim. De Zerbi called the abuser “a good lad.”

I sent a formal complaint to TalkSport recently, not related to this, but it doesn’t surprise me. They are ill informed at best, talk like they’re speaking the truth, with nobody on the panel to provide any balance. Grim stuff.

He also said “the entire gambit” which should invalidate anything else that comes out of his mouth.
