FCS has responded to Ofcom’s consultation: Enabling automated frequency coordination (AFC) in the 6 GHz band. We support the aim to enable AFC in the 6GHz band, but the framework must not disadvantage small CPs, resellers, or Business Radio operators. See the FCS website for our full response.

We are delighted that Shaun Chambers from the Communications Ombudsman is attending our CSP monthly meeting - with the forthcoming change to ADR regulations, this is great timing. We will also be looking at Switching for Business, the Telecom Access Review and Review of the Mobile Market.

FCS welcomes the certainty that the TAR final statement brings, though we still have concerns about margin squeeze for smaller CPs and resellers and we will continue to be vigilant on this matter. FCS members look out for the member briefing email which gives you more detail.
