Don’t worry, we’ve all done it

So sad to hear about the death of Japanese experimental filmmaker Shozin Fukui on April 2nd. We visited his wife just a couple of weeks ago at their bar in Higashi-Nakano and learned he wasn’t doing so well. He died just as the world was releasing and recognising his contribution to cinema.

Yeah I saw that one too! Crazy! Nah I get you, you’re a boy so bullying is different. There were boys beaten up in my school but it wasn’t that often. For girls it’s often psychological, so social media can make it 500 times worse

On Saturday mornings I looked forward to playing with my friends, obviously sometimes we were kicked out. This was the 90s/00s so things were changing (we had sky tv for example, more channels) but it feels like a nostalgic time for me personally

That’s great news! All I can talk on is what I see in the uk and that’s not kids playing outside. My main argument however would be how much easier it is for kids to be relentlessly bullied now. In my day when you went home from school that was the end of it bar maybe an old skool txt

Maybe that’s your experience but I value the memories of playing outside, knocking on my friends house or calling their house phone to see if they were available. Kids who would have been natural outsiders are now inside on their phones.

When I was a kid we were all outside playing. Now there’s no kids playing outside. It does make a massive negative difference to kids and I hope they ban it here in the uk like they did in Aus.

But every mf in the country is in the garden centre and Jasper wants me to take him there 😭
