Thanks! Chumaky were Ukrainian traders who traveled long distances with ox wagons to carry salt and other goods.

A year ago I started making a game called "Chumaky". I originally planned to finish the project in three months with just one travel mechanic. But after seeing the strong interest in it, I decided to turn it into a full game.

I managed to collect 5800 wishlists for the game "Chumaky", which is already a great success for me (and I haven't even made a trailer yet!). I worked on 3 projects in a year⬇️

(There's a lot about this in the book too "The Art of Game Design", there these questions are formulated as lenses). I used to spend a lot of time learning programming, thinking it was the most difficult part of development. After making 10+ games, I realized that game design⬇️

If I used to develop games as a hobby and make them when I had the time, then this year I switched to full-time indie. And I think I've started to understand the target audience better, understand game design better, and understand what questions to ask before start development⬇️

A year ago, my indie game Slime Clicker was released on Steam. In a year, the game sold 415 copies.

Not a lot, but it's honest indie work :D (now there's a 55% discount)
