Hey friendos, I’ll be on CNN tonight (March 5) with Laura Coates at 11:40 PM Eastern time to discuss drone warfare, how the US copied the Shahed drone, and how Ukraine might be able to help the Gulf states. 🇺🇦
I’d love to have you there for moral support. ❤️

Can we get Rage Against the Machine out of retirement please? The country needs your services.
I don’t share my videos as often as I should. So here’s some good news: youtu.be/v9PaWfOboNU?...
We’re now a Substack community of more than 4,000 readers, thinkers, analysts, and curious folks who want to understand this messy world better. With another 50,000 on Medium and 116,000 on YouTube, we’ve built a small army together.
I’m grateful for every single one of you. 🙏 #happythanksgiving

Of course! Are you talking about the Artemis ALM-20 drone? Yeah, 1600km is a bit far for battery power. More likely some kind of hybrid propulsion. I’ll look into it!
I reached out to EOS for more info. No word back yet. I imagine the majority of the shipping container is filled with batteries with a tiny bit of room for the actual laser 😆
Today’s video was a fun one

I can’t describe how humbling this feels. 100k in a year is mind blowing 🙏 Thank you
Stumbled on this old photo. What a handsome young man! Crack shot too. Could shoot the lips off a cockroach at 300 meters.
I’ve heard some bad journalism lately on AI in warfare so I set out to write a primer that would clarify a few things. If you’re interested in this stuff, have a look: open.substack.com/pub/wesodonn...
Have an exceptional Independence Day friends 🇺🇸🇺🇦
@amnh.org We didn’t catch her name, but the young woman employee who chatted with my son and I about ice age land bridges and geology for 15 minutes (in the Rose Center for Earth & Space) Wednesday was super friendly and deserves kudos. Thanks for a great time.
I’m at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC today and I was “dad-splaining” to my son how during the last Ice Age there was a land bridge that connected continental Asia to Japan.
A docent asked me if I was a geologist.
Then my son just bumped into @neildegrassetyson.com in the elevator.
I’m writing about this attack now for an article and a video for next week. But, I think it’s a safe bet that these Fulcrums have been given the Swedish treatment

Kids, it’s true. In the early 2000s, text messages used to cost us 10 cents per text.

Germany’s proposal of a drone wall around NATO, including through Ukraine, is more revolutionary than we might think. Imagine a flying, thinking, AI-powered minefield that attacks Russian tanks as soon as they roll across the border.

Putin had a bad day. 😢
Russian losses in the last 24 hours:
1,280 men
8 tanks
16 AFVs
81 artillery (this seems like a lot. They must be counting mortars also)
5 MLRS
1 air defense system
4 (!) helicopters
1 Su-25 fighter
146 UAVs
I’m reminded of the Handmaiden’s Tale where the US is taken over by far right evangelicals and the real US gov is in exile in Canada, along with millions of American refugees. Let’s hope it stays fiction for the time being 😆
For instance, being locked out of centralized cloud-based system like F-35's ODIN (ALIS) that does so many things, including mission planning w/threat intel integration.
Now, the F 35 lightning is a different matter entirely. It simply would not be able to fly without US support, so all of the NATO countries who recently bought the F 35 are at the mercy of the US.
Hi Stephan, this is a good topic for a full length essay, but to answer your question, strictly speaking there would be no killswitch, but the networked nature of US weapon systems means that when Trump ended US intelligence, it crippled a large number of UKR weapons that rely on US targeting data.
Whether Yeti planned this or not, I’m kind of digging their new seasonal colors 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 #ukraine #slavaukraini

I just received this message from a YouTube subscriber and I agree with his sentiment 🇺🇦
A patriot is proud of his country because of what it does. A nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does.
Who needs the Veteran Crisis Line to be staffed, anyway. Gotta save those precious federal dollars. [Sarcasm]
End the war within 24 hours? The Russians don’t seem to think so. #ukraine
