It's an indie bottling tonight, and this Glentauchers by @chorltonwhisky is certainly hitting the spot. Complex rich sultana notes and subtle malty undertones just reaffirms my affection for anything matured in refill sherry butts. Sláinte! 🥃

Last dram of this splendid Bunnahabhain 12 CS 2023. Spent a long time savoring this glass - over 3 hours in fact! Turns out patience together with nearly 50% dilution really paid off dividends. The beautiful soft raisin notes finally revealed themselves in the end! 87/100. #bottlekill

Just tried a dram of this Octomore 15.1, but it seemed quite underwhelming... Good, but not £140 good. Still yet to try the venerable 15.3 variant though 😔🤞🏻

Well this 22 year old Caperdonich is something very special. Exquisite is an understatement. Slainte!

Common theme on there: New to whisky, uninformed/naive, being led down the garden path - easily parted with their hard earned cash etc. etc. Who's going to tell those punters that they'll unlikely ever see all/most of their money back? Unconscionable.
