We applied for LPTV licenses in 4 cities - Phoenix AZ, Tucson AZ, Hartford CT, Fort Myers FL. There are a lot of applicants so we don't know yet if we will get them all. We have a technology plan, content plan, and lots of ways to be involved. More locations possible working with other licensees.

If a network decided to do an encrypted channel that required buying a converter box to view, that is not considered broadcasting.
If all 4 networks decide to encrypt their channels, informing TV manufacturers that they have to build the converter box into their TVs, does that make everything ok?

To enable - in the HDHomeRun app go into Settings and enable "early access to new features".
If you connect a hard drive to your FLEX (or set up a NAS or PC for recordings) you can make recordings by using the "Record This Airing" feature of the HDHomeRun app.

Quick heads up - new HDHomeRun app releases for Roku and Apple TV will be out this week...
Roku release cycle - the next Roku release (within 2 weeks or so) will be a bugfix release.
Tip for Roku - by default Roku will stop playing after 4 hours without user interaction. This affects all apps. From the Roku home screen go into Settings, Network, Bandwidth saver and turn this option Off.
