oh, you know.. moving between projects puts you in different mindsets. Been taking a break from one so that’s brought me back here 😊. A good thing to say the least!
yeah, i feel this a bit too deeply lol. about to flip the desk and go back to bed, the day is officially cancelled.
hyprmoncfg is a TUI and CLI monitor configurator for Hyprland.
It lets you place screens visually, save named profiles, mirror displays, plan workspaces, safely revert layouts, and more.
Carmine Paolino (crmne on GitHub) made hyprmoncfg and is Terminal Tool of the Week! ⭐️

The problem is that many people use Generative AI because they *don't* want to put a lot if work in.

Can't believe it took this long to add 🙈
There is a middle ground, I believe, between UX and DX. Amp (ampcode.com) does the “do what I mean, not what I say” kind of approach and the multi-provider sub-agent approach behind the scenes by “asking” named agents to resolve problems.
It’s a good experience all around, I'd say. Give it a shot.
We just published a new blog post on the state of search and the critical need for open index access. The dawn of a healthier, user-centric web is possible, but it requires structural change.

Claude Code in a terminal demonstrating that the Deno LSP server catches and warns about linter issues now!
I love that LSP servers work with Claude Code now! There were some bugs early on, but now it lints as it goes! #deno #lsp #claude
Holy crap Tailwind CSS had to layoff 75% of its engineers because of AI? When LLMs are used instead of documentation sites, you can't push your paid add-ons any more. Result: ✨poof✨ your revenues are gone.
This is a blow for sustainable OSS library and tools. What to do instead?
JavaScript trademark update:
- Oracle requested (and we agreed to) a 60-day extension in the cancellation case ttabvue.uspto.gov/ttabvue/v?pn...
- We’re deep in discovery, producing extensive evidence that “JavaScript” is used generically across the industry and does not refer to Oracle products.
😂 love this shit man. you have some good ideas. How you think about things usually pulls me into a very different headspace and that’s a good thing!
what’s it look like? i’ve been pretty into this kind of thing lately. librarian lookup agents that is :)

@kelseyhightower.com on platform engineering:
The deployment inputs you ask for – version, CPU, memory, disk, region – are the API your developers rely on.
VMware, cloud, whatever the backend is… the API is what matters.
