Writing, like every other art form, is an exercise that thrives on practice, but can also lead to injury if done without rest! Rest! Refill your wells!!
I can never advocate for the "write every day" advice. I think every writer should have a day during the week where they engage in the enjoyment of experiencing art in lieu of creating it.

- self-deprecating rich asshole with a heart of gold
- lesbian hooligan who's trying her best but only makes things worse
- narrative foil to the protagonist who is just them except worse
- aloof but secretly reverent love interest
Writers: before you sign a contract with a publisher, make sure AI isn't replacing your illustrator, your translator, your editor, your jacket designer. Readers: if you're thinking of buying a book, do the same. Refuse. Resist. If AI garbage doesn't sell, people will stop making it.
