NEW: I found two "news" websites active on X and other platforms—Al-Fassel and Pishtaz News—that are in fact U.S. government-operated anti-Iranian military propaganda mills. Both appear tied to U.S. Central Command.

The most moral military in the world keeps showing itself to be anything but. Also this is really tame compared to the war crimes in Gaza.
I checked this too.
*20 seconds* of Reform logo display.
*No other* party logo displayed.
In local election purdah.
This is not normal. At all.
I’m glad that LLMs have some valid uses. Don’t blame people for fucking hating it or compare us to antivaxxers. That shit legitimately is one of the worst things that I’ve seen happen to the world, and I am old.
The average person doesn’t give a fuck if AI has some niche use where it actually excels if used properly. In fact, that is what a tool is *supposed* to do and none of us will have a problem if it is used like that. What we see is AI fucking up real life in a massive way.
Wild to keep hearing anti-AI sentiment described as an "echo chamber" by people who pretend there's never been a coercive dogshit marketing campaign actively pissing people off about it for two years or any no-opt-out half-baked shovelware making everyone's PCs and phones worse
A wildlife disaster unfolds alongside the human tragedy in the Strait of Hormuz
@greenpeace.org reports Iranian vessel Shahid Bagheri, stuck by a US warplane in early March, is still leaking oil near the Strait, with nearby wetlands at risk:

Israel’s ‘yellow line’ raises new offshore concerns for Lebanon.
Israel’s military has drawn a new 'yellow line' in southern Lebanon - aiming to control parts of Lebanese territory and nearby waters and raising questions over access to the offshore Qana gas field.

Good news of the day.
Fun fact: The Onion's acquisition of Infowars was an almost 2-year long process that cost a shit ton of money.
Much more fun fact: You can show your appreciation by subscribing to the Onion for $9 a month AND get a print copy delivered right to your doorstep. membership.theonion.com
Finally something to look forward to. Long live the 🧅 and its golden core. May the great unpeeling begin.
at last, under new management, infowars will achieve its destiny as the true number one source for bullshit on the internet
Exactly.
When my grandma got dementia some of her worst traits got exaggerated. Paranoia, distorted perception of reality became rather common. She who used to be kind became nasty. I see all the same symptoms in him, except he has never been kind. She unlike him was not in charge of anything at that stage.
Love this for him 🤣
Look like aliens. Very beautiful creatures.
Why this person got the Nobel peace prize is beyond my comprehension.
Now here is a worthy cause to join.
My grandma had late stage dementia before she passed. I was fortunate to be with her when she had her last lucid hours. The decline was a terrible thing to witness and endure. She changed so much. Having someone in charge of the most powerful military in the world this state is crazy.
I had forgotten this gem ☃️ I used to live in one of the houses hugging the little alley way where most of the action took place and shop my groceries in Kjötborg :)
The end will be imminent the moment Trump will show signs of mental clarity. Anyone who has walked with, an elderly dementia relative the last steps of life, knows the signs. I am waiting with urgent calmness.
If Mamdani and Obama singing The Wheels On The Bus with a group of tiny kids doesn't spark some sort of joy in you, I've got nothing for you.
Pope: [moral critique of illegal war]
President: I am Jesus. Thr pope is gay
Media: they are feuding😳
Man if this dude had been in charge of the FBI in the nineties there’d be a lot of old hackers in the U.S. who wouldn’t have criminal records now.
Efforts to defeat Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s push for higher taxes on the wealthy and corporations have led to stories predicting companies would flee New York.
But the numbers tell a different story.
This is excellent. Farnsy flashmob in Brisbane in response to new Queensland hate speech laws which outlaw the phrase ‘From the river to the sea’.
