Rebecca Sheppard has been unable to fix a glaring error on her credit report, which plunged because of $240K in student loan debt she doesn’t owe.
She’s one of many consumers who’ve struggled to get mistakes resolved under Trump’s CFPB.

If you saw this happening in another country, what would you call it? www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...
Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.
It doesn't have to be this way.
The number of workers represented by a union increased in 2025 to 16.5 million — the highest number in 16 years.
That’s despite Trump’s corporate-backed war on workers.
Remember: Trump wouldn’t be attacking unions if he wasn’t so afraid of workers’ collective power. Solidarity.
The FDA won’t tell Americans where their generic drugs are made, so ProPublica built a tool to show you.
Here’s how Rx Inspector has helped patients, doctors and researchers so far.
Next year, Americans will see the biggest jump in health insurance costs in 15 years.
Meanwhile, the seven largest health insurance companies made a combined $71B in profits in 2024.
It’s far past time for Medicare for All. Here’s what you need to know.
SNAP ending on 10/31 means that almost 1M WA residents would lose their resources to getting groceries, adding pressure to an already-burdened food system.
@wadshs.bsky.social + Economic Justice Alliance put together a helpful visual on the destabilizing impacts of the scope of losing SNAP in WA:
The Dept of Labor is considering a change to a rule that would prevent home care providers from earning the minimum wage and overtime pay. Stand up for home care providers now by opposing this rule change. act.afscme.org/letters/stan...

I feel like regular people should talk about how small their margins are, just like businesses that are making record profits do. 💁🏽♀️
Here in WA, in the 4th Congressional district, approx 38% of people — & 70% of kids — rely on Medicaid. Almost 17% of people in the region rely on SNAP. People in Yakima & Tri-Cities need Rep. Newhouse to reject the reconciliation bill that would take health care & food assistance away from so many.
As the Senate weighs the big bad bill, remember: when workers are told to do more with less, that’s a choice. Scarcity is engineered. Care should be unconditional. Ask what our communities need, and who’s hoarding the resources. (Hint: rhymes with Beff Jezos and his ilk).
Sounds like something a gorilla would say.
Nothing says "fiscal responsibility" like making working families choose between groceries and medications so billionaires can get a tax break to snag a third yacht and bankroll a union-busting legal team while they continue to build an AI overlords to do your job... just saying, #MedicaidMatters
Well, yeah. It is a lot, and I’m very sleepy. At the start of session, we were tracking o/500 bills, now down to 150 which feels better. It helps if you’re passionate about what you’re advocating for and if you prioritize. Just two more days. 🤞🏽

The ladies at my salon said everyone has been asking when the revolution is… and they tell them they’ll ask me. So now I have to draft an email explaining how to get involved so they can share it with anyone asking. Always be organizing! lol

Canceling the measurement of economic impacts from climate change doesn’t make those costs — estimated to be nearly $2 trillion for the U.S. economy this decade — go away. Instead, it will likely have the effect of pushing them onto citizens.

Kinda makes you wonder if the White House press corps wishes it had pushed back harder on the AP being banished, don’t it?
The U.S. is being hoodwinked in broad daylight. So… that revolution, who’s manning the grill, and do we RSVP or just show up with a casserole and a game plan???
It’s almost like the economy is being run by someone who went bankrupt 6 times.
💅
I posted this with an explanation of why I’ve been MIA; then I took it down b/c idk why... But, it NEEDS to be shared. This is what WA loses if we don’t get off our asses and bring in new progressive revenue and this doesn’t even count what’s going on federally. Fight the power, people. ✊🏽
Wow. That’s complete bullshit.
