Hey everyone, so my time with Vantage comes to an end at the end of this month. I feel so lucky to have worked on the stuff I did.

I am looking for full time work. If anyone knows anyone, my DMs are open. People at Vantage are able to vouch for me and the services/experiences I can produce.

we've accidentally been tracking ~150 million too many likes. these likes are never used for even the like-based Hot feeds algorithm, oops. 😅

I had a brief look but it seems like a bunch of the hops don’t respond to ICMP packets- I’ll take a more concerted look at the weekend

Yeah lol - exactly them. The worst bit was that it was working fine for ages - and when it does work they are very generously delegating a /48. But now my internet is borderline unusable it if I have v6 enabled 😬

Following maintenance by my ISP last week, I now have the flappiest packet-dropping IPv6 connection known to man.

Will I be able to get in contact with a member of technical support who knows what I'm going on about? I doubt it :(
