Today marks 40 years since the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. I was 8, in 3rd grade. The teachers had wheeled in a TV. I remember watching and thinking it couldn't be real. I was stunned, silent and my mouth was probably hanging open. Many had tears. I won't forget that moment in that classroom.
