'Anamnesis' is a vertical slice of a 2D psychological/adventure narrative sidescroller that I pieced together in Godot as an experiment. I tried painting out some environment assets for it. I wanted to incorporate Surrealist elements into the scene.

Thank you anjin ! It’s not for any specific project, I am just designing them to explore themes about childhood and horror. I think i would love to revisit this setting with environment designs later.

The mouth of Flesh Lip & Mandarin's face symbolize the mouth of Mary verbally abusing James. They were inspired by the mouth of the figure in the center painting of “Second Version of Triptych 1944” by Francis Bacon.
As a side note, in SH2R, Mandarin appears only in Otherworld.
