Thank you so much for sharing this! I think it’s so important, not only for people to report exactly what’s happening in their games and to provide more data for EA, but also to help people understand how complex of an issue this is!

If you’ve had problems with save corruption check out this thread by @crinrict.com with instructions on where to report your exact issue.

Hopefully, the more saves EA gets, the sooner these issues can be resolved and we’ll be able to enjoy residential rentals!

I know the internet isn’t the place to be if you’re offended by people being rude and impolite but if I saw one of my friends sending a message like that to anyone at all, I’d call them out on it. And if someone spoke to me like that, there isn’t a chance in hell I’d do what they asked for.

I completely understand how frustrating it is to have game/immersion breaking bugs in a game that you’ve paid for BUT replying to anyone, whether it’s an official/company account or not, with FIX THIS THING is, in no way, an appropriate way to speak to anyone. How do people forget that?

Wedding number 5, for my Black Widower Owen, done and dusted. This one was super cute (and we got a LOT of £££ to show for it) 😈❤️

I loved that! It was pretty much exactly what I expected. I have a feeling I’ll use Business & Hobbies so often that I’ll end up forgetting what the game was like without it, come a few months from now!

I really love them too!!! But too little?! Have you already played through all of the jobs and aspirations? I’m currently doing that (plus collections) and having so much fun!

I was excited to play more of the Blast From The Past event today, only to discover part three doesn’t start until tomorrow 💔 At least my mods are updated and my game is ready for it now.

I didn’t even have to place it in the house, just have it in my game. But I believe Lumpino has a mod that unlinks the milestones from objects, which I’ll be installing so that I can remove the CC mats for good.

I FIGURED IT OUT! One of the developmental milestones, of the kids in the family, was linked to a CC play mat that I had removed 💀 I added it back in and it fixed the issue.

I thought it worked by switching to dx9 but I just tried to buy a plot for a residential rental, in the same save/with the same family, and the I got the same issue…

GONNA SCREAM I ACTUALLY MANAGED TO LOAD INTO MY GAME AND BENNETT (THE TEENAGE BEAR BOY) WAS DEAD FROM BEING HIT BY A METEOR SO I GOT HIS DAD TO PLEAD FOR HIS LIFE AND IT WORKED BUT I’M LOSING MY MIND

I don’t even have them saved to my library so I can’t tray importer the issue. I’m so screwed.

I thought it was an issue with the lot they were in but i tried moving them and I’m having the same issue. I can load into other households within that save so maybe it’s something (cc?) on the family themselves?

UM HELP. MY GAME SOUNDS LIKE IT’S RUNNING (I can hear audio of my sims talking etc) BUT IT’S STUCK ON LOADING SCREEN. I didn’t even know this could happen.

Jesus Christ, I can’t load this save 💀💀💀 I can get in but then if I load the family I want to play it gets stuck on loading screen. 3 minutes so far. RIP.

My save is taking so long to load. Game, u ok??
