Ah yes, the “everything I write is shit” part of the ms. Wondering when that was going to show up. Cool. Cool.

The only reason being “why did ppl keep giving him money?” Everyone knew he was talking out his ass, knew that he had blown past any and all guard rails, and yet they still thought they were insulated.
It’s still playing out now. It’s fascinating, almost like he’s got a witch in his pocket. 🤔
rightly thinking he wasn’t too bright, but completely underestimating his narcissism. If DT had remained in his father’s shadow, he might have done far less damage.
Kinda want to read The Art of the Deal & its associated works. Kinda.
Finally let myself watch The Apprentice last night. Sebastian Stan was outstanding. So glad he’s getting his flowers, totally deserves them.
Good movie. I can’t help but wonder if our lives would be different if DT had never met Roy Cohn. If Cohn hadn’t been so attracted to him - gassing him up
The character development in the first Thor movie was so good! It’s the best Thor movie by far, and I will never forgive the MCU for turning him into a joke.
Dammit. RIP
After Jackson 5, KISS was my love and obsession. 😢
So interesting how this vilification of pronouns has slipped into fiction, namely 3rd person deep pov.
Like, it’s ok to use “he/she” people. Folks don’t usually think of themselves as their own name.
If you’re in someone’s head, it’s ok to use he/she when referring to them!
So this is me promoting! I hear folks say all the time that they want to read something different - this is definitely different and I hope you give it a try. 13/13
For awhile I thought I wasn’t going to finish the series (at least right away) because it wasn’t cost effective to do so, but fuck it. Love the story and maybe if I get off my ass and promote it, more people will love it too! 12/
But the horrors of Hell are wearing him down—feeding on his power, messing with his mind. It will take all of his strength to resist, and to escape with his body and mind intact.
I’m still writing this one and the themes are still shaping themselves. 11/
The next book which may or may not be the last in the series is called Lost in Darkness. It’s Lucifer’s book. Lucifer is dealing with Hell and a bizarre prophecy that has him leading its denizen’s back to earth to consume it in the name of Darkness. Which is absurd because "what? fuck no" 10/
Dreaming in Shadow is a book about honor, and family. About doing what you believe is right, even if it’s a really dumb idea. It’s also available on all major platforms. 9/
But despite pleas not to from those he trusts, he’s determined to see it through. His stubborn determination just might be what the Darkness can use to cement a foothold, to get earth’s most powerful creatures on its side. 8/
The next book in the series is Dreaming in Shadow. This is Kai’s book.
At the end of Coming Darkness Kai is left gravely wounded, but he started shit and now he has to finish it, or die. Probably die. Pretty much going to die. 7/

Coming Darkness is a book about power and wielding it responsibly. I’ve always been a fan of the “with great power comes great responsibility” speech from Spiderman. I guess this is my take on that. It should be a perma .99 read on most platforms. 6/
He takes this personally and lashes out, with unintended consequences. He also discovers a betrayal by Lucifer that makes him question the foundation of their relationship. Maybe he *is* just Lucifer’s pet after all. 5/
In the meantime, Kai is dealing with his own shit. He’s an old, powerful vampire in his own right, but centuries gallivanting around with Lucifer has tarnished his image. The supernatural community sees him as only as Lucifer’s pet - not a deadly threat. 4/
He lives with his lover Kai like the spoiled prince he is until something comes along that threatens everyone. He, of course, doesn’t get involved until it directly affects him. He winds up imprisoned in Hell, which reallllly sucks because it's not supposed to exist! 3/
Lucifer has never been to Hell because it doesn’t exist. He’s simply the first and most powerful archangel who absolutely refused to accept his Father’s mandate that they love and serve humans. He left Heaven, opening up the world of choice for all angels. 2/
Since it’s been a minute since I’ve promoted my books on here, I figure it’s time. I suuuck at self-promotion - this is me working on it!
I have two books in a series out: The first is Coming Darkness. The book centers around Lucifer and his lover/mate Kai. 1/

This. And it’s infuriating.
In case it wasn’t clear, the anti-DEI crusade has never been about merit. Zero news experience. Never been a reporter. Elevated to Editor in Chief of CBS News, one of the most storied news institutions in the nation. www.mediaite.com/media/news/p...
No one, and I mean NO ONE, in Hollywood is talking about Tilly Norwood except over drinks for a chuckle. Actors are such an important part of the creative process - you want an actor who can surprise you every take, not one whose performance you dial up and down on a laptop. This is an ad campaign.
Internet outage. They say we should be up & running by Wed at 5am. Too bad it’s 4pm Tuesday.
It’s times like these when I realize just how dependent on the Internet I am. My work, entertainment all wrapped up in a thing vulnerable to outages. 😑😫
“If you are unpopular, you must be unimportant.” So! Much! This!
And why hasn’t x-work made its way into the cultural zeitgeist? Could it be because we’re recycling the same “top ten” ad nauseum?🤷🏾♀️🤔
So much of the movie hurt my heart, but none more so than *Lois* both-sidesing Superman preventing a military invasion. Like, what?
Did not have Lois as corporate shill on my bingo card. 🤨
One of the reasons - to me - why cloning him would always be bullshit. Even if he does shed skin/hair/etc it would be impervious to our attempts to replicate/ clone.
But that’s a more complicated story to tell, right?
One more thing. Back when Superman first came out, I read a novelization that became my head canon. (I wish I still had that book.)
Anyway, it talked about his physicality- how if a human touched his hair, it would shred our skin. The implications & how he was extremely lonely as a result.
